    Description

    Job Summary: Tip It Forward is seeking a dedicated and professional Program Coordinator to coordinate and oversee programs responsibilities and office management for Tip It Forward. This position is a good fit for a compassionate, detailed-oriented person interested in health equity and trauma-informed care programming.

    Frequency: Part-time hours) moving to full-time likely by August 2024. Hours will depend on the candidate's background and abilities, and the position could easily progress to full-time sooner with the right experience.

    Salary Range: $21-$26/hour, dependent on experience

    Responsibilities

    The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting all outreach and aspects of fundraising, event organization, communications with all stakeholders including volunteers, contractors, donors, vendors, and documentation of all contact and notating follow-up action items. This role also supports the Executive Director and COO on a variety of projects and general office administration.

    We are seeking candidates who have the unique ability to compassionately connect with and reach out to any and all stakeholders. The ideal candidate has an ability to passionately communicate our mission while identifying ways to collaborate with individuals and other organizations to support our community through Tip It Forward's trauma-informed care services.

    Community Engagement:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and local organizations, keeping trauma-informed principles at the forefront.
    • Represent Tip It Forward at community events, meetings, and other relevant forums.
    • Act as a liaison between the organization and the community to identify needs and opportunities for collaboration.

    Volunteer Coordination:

    • Recruit and manage volunteers to support program initiatives, emphasizing trauma-informed practices.
    • Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies to ensure a positive and impactful volunteer experience.
    • Foster a sense of community among volunteers and recognize their contributions.

    Marketing:

    • Collaborate with Directors to develop and implement promotional campaigns for programs and events with a trauma-informed lens.
    • Utilize various channels, including social media, email, and traditional media, to increase awareness and participation in programs while being mindful of potential triggers.
    • Monitor marketing efforts to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven adjustments.

    General Administration:

    • Database Management:
    • Organizational services/events and documenting impact on a monthly basis
    • Volunteer databases and volunteer hours on a quarterly basis
    • Managing the donor database to facilitate efficient reporting and communications, and update organizational leadership on a monthly basis
    • Marketing communications database and newsletter platform
    • Maintain Volunteer/Provider/Contractor Team Records
    • Oversee provider agreements, credentialing and contracts to ensure current and accurate information
    • Ensure availability of all team members and document status and team contact in a shared spreadsheet
    • Submitting Memorandums of Understanding to program partners, and ensuring they are signed and fully executed in a timely manner
    • Assist the Executive Director and COO in preparing and disseminating periodic reports on agency activities
    • Assist the Executive Director and COO in organizing all logistics leading up to, during, and after clinics and team training events
    • Ensures telephone and email is answered in a timely and professional fashion
    • Helps ensure efficient and profitable operations by maintaining equipment and utilizing supplies in a cost-effective manner

    Qualifications

    • Experience in the non-profit space, ideally supporting underserved people and communities - health and wellness experience preferred but not required
    • Independent problem solving – proactively looks for and resolves issues before they can impact the organization
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality for clients and patients, particularly surrounding healthcare data and personal information
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • A keen ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Proven organizational skills demonstrated through prior work success
    • Strong comfort level with commonly used technology and software, as well as an openness to learning new technology platforms and systems
    • Valid driver's license
