    Program Project Coordinator - Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC)

    Location: 600 W Jefferson St, Louisville, KY 40202 USA

    The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch, employing nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks.

    The Department of Specialty Courts, within the Administrative Office of the Courts, has an immediate opening for a Program Project Coordinator in Jefferson County. This role will focus on overseeing the local drug court program to ensure participant compliance with program requirements.

    Responsibilities of this role include:

    • Responsible for participant intake utilizing an eligibility assessment and other information.
    • Preparing an individualized program plan for each participant.
    • Working with community agencies to provide resources such as financial assistance, alternative housing, medical screening, educational, and vocational rehabilitation, and substance abuse treatment.
    • Acting as a liaison to promote the drug court program in the local community.
    • Maintaining and reporting program data as required.
    • Providing case management for 15-18 participants.
    • Entering data in MIS.
    • Some overnight travel may be required.
    • Other duties as needed.

    Minimum Requirements:

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field

    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE

    Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE

    Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Associates Degree with two years of job-related experience or High School Diploma with four years of job-related experience.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: NONE

    Working Conditions:

    Must be able to work with highly stressed individuals and address substance abuse issues. Should be willing to work inside a detention center on an as-needed basis.
