    This position serves as the Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Program Coordinator to the Kentucky Board ofNursing in the Credential Branch. Provide professional support in developing, implementing, and maintainingvarious activities; and performs other duties as assigned.

    Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Coordinate activities in the implementation and the administration of the Certified Medication Aidecredentialing program.
  • Serves as direct liaison with Cabinet for Health and Family Services in the Certified Medication AideProgram
  • Request, collect and maintain all documents required by regulations for the Certified Medication Aideprogram.
  • Responds to programmatic inquires via phone and email from all stakeholders throughout the Commonwealth.

  • Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional experience in management or administration.
    Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.
    Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Administrative or business experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE Working Conditions Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required. Probationary Period This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS
