We are looking for our Analyst, Financial Planning who will be responsible for providing analytical expertise and strategic insight to Pizza Hut International's global portfolio of business units (BMUs) through supporting the Financial Planning function within Pizza Hut International.

The Financial Analyst plays a central role in providing analytical expertise and strategic insight to Pizza Hut International's global portfolio of business units (BMUs) through supporting the Financial Planning function within Pizza Hut International. This role will report into the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis with strong visibility to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities of this role include consolidating sales reports and BMU-level financial plans into a division-level view; reviewing, analyzing and drawing conclusions based on BMU results; developing impactful financial models, and performing strategic analysis on value added business priorities to share with PH International leadership and drive results.
Planning and Analysis (75%)
Own weekly sales reporting process: gathering data, preparing reports and sharing insights with Pizza Hut International & Yum Leadership team
Lead headquarter general & administrative budget process with senior leaders of each function, and own monthly variance analysis & communication
Drive quarterly forecast process by consolidating and analyzing information submitted by BMUs on a monthly & quarterly basis
Support reporting & analysis of monthly financial performance of all BMUs and the impact on PH International's overall performance
Support strategic analysis to support brand or division projects (e.g., brand projects, leadership meetings, investor presentations)
Support preparation of Annual Financial Plan and setting and cascading of targets to BMUs
Interact with Yum Control team in Louisville and each of the international BMU Planning & Control teams
Ad hoc Analysis & Modeling (25%)
Maintain and improve financial models including those used to collect and analyze BMU forecasts, analyze monthly results and report sales data
Constantly look for ways to improve modeling to offer greater insights into BMU and KFC/PH Global financial performance
JOB SIZE:
Analysis of Pizza Hut International's key financial indicators based on the consolidation of 7 international Business Management Units (BMUs) covering 120+ countries, 11,000+ units, and $7B+ system sales.
PH Global CFO, Yum Planning, BMU Finance teams, Control team
EDUCATION:
College degree required, major in Finance or Business preferred
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
Recent Graduate, or 1-2 years' experience in Corporate Finance, Banking, Consulting, Asset Management
Detail oriented, with a strong financial analysis background and understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface directly with higher levels of management
Highly self-motivated with a strong drive for results, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving ability
Strong oral and written communication skills
Likes to challenge status quo
Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Highly proficient in Excel
