Job Size

You will lead a team of around 15 people with 2 managers initially and work closely with Product Engineering Managers, and other PO Managers.

You will also own the relationship with vendors and consultants to ensure their services address your teams' technological needs.

Job Functions

You're responsible for managing 2 SRE teams who own the infrastructure running our Website, Mobile App, API, and supporting sub-systems.

You will work closely with our Incident Management team as your teams serve as infrastructure subject matter experts as well as owners for the tooling they use.

You will own the maturing of Site Reliability Engineering best practices and processes.

You're responsible for creating and implementing the 12-month strategy we'll use to ensure we're bringing value to the broader business.

As a Sr Manager you're responsible for integrating SRE into the practices of the other Product teams that leverage your infrastructure.

Knowledge and Skill

Minimum 5 years of IT experience (or a B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree)

Experience managing an Engineering/SRE Team

Experience leading cloud infrastructure, monitoring, Site Reliability or Sysadmin initiatives

Proactive attitude to solve problems and resolve conflicts

Thorough understanding of Engineering/Developer Best Practices and why they are important

Experience reading and creating system diagrams and technical documents
