    Description:


    Our dynamic Order Middleware team is rapidly growing as we optimize our digital ordering channels and technology innovations to create competitive advantages for our restaurants around the globe.

    We are seeking a Technical QA Engineer who is ready to work closely with our Feature Developers to write functional automated test scenarios.

    This role will require the candidate to analyze user story requirements, and develop new automated test scenarios. In this role, you will participate in Agile ceremonies, be an integral part of the team, and work closely with the Technical Analysts and Feature Developers
    Scope of the Role

    • Develop test automation scripts using various tools such as Selenium, Appium, API request libraries
    • Prepare accurate and detailed test plans and test cases to be delivered as automated test scenarios
    • Perform automated functional and endtoend regression testing on framework services ( RESTful APIs), web and mobile applications
    • Serve as a Technical QA Engineer on an Agile/Scrum team to help user scenarios and implement automated tests to verify those scenarios are accounted for in the software
    • Review user stories to ensure that requirements are testable and validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
    • Ability to analyze test results for trends and patterns of failure, problem solve and perform basic investigative testing techniques.
    Minimum
    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering focused degree. Alternatively equivalent work experience
    • 35 years of IT QA Engineering or Software Development Engineering experience with predominately API and web applications
    • 2 years of experience in Agile/Scrum environment on Product Team
    • Solid understanding of Unit, Integration, and functional/E2E test frameworks
    Preferred

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of functional automation test development using various tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso, and other scripting languages
    • Experience building functional test automation libraries and solutions
    • Experience with testing Single Page Applications (ReactJS) and React Mobile Applications
    • Technical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, MongoDB preferred
    • 2+ years of AWS or GCP and their services with a good understanding of cloudbased applications
    • Knowledge of VCS systems like BitBucket, GitHub, or GitLab

    Tools and Technology:

    • Python
    • Behave (or BDD equivalent)
    • Selenium, Appium, and Restful, or comparable automation testing libraries
    • Confluence/JIRA (preferred)
    • Bitbucket/Git
