JOB SUMMARY
Nabors is seeking a Data Analyst for our Center of Excellence. The personnel will apply their data analytics and statistical algorithms skills to help drive key business metrics. The position requires the personnel for reporting related to various KPIs/ scores.

Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collecting, research and interpret dataAnalyzing resultsReporting the results back to the relevant members of the businessIdentifying patterns and trends in data setsWorking alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needsDefining new data collection and analysis processesDemonstrate illustrations and visualizations of data communicating results of business impactDocument completed work so others can understand and implementAble to analyze data and understand the relationships and correlationsFollows procedures and safety guidelinesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Pursuing final year of university studies towards bachelor's degree or seeking Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or Economics, or related courseworkBasic understanding of the following from previous work/classes/research and/or relevant pervious jobs/internships:data modeling and reporting packages such as Power BI or other visualization languagesanalyze large datasets using Python or other scripting languageswrite comprehensive reportsVerbal and written communication skillsAn analytical mind and inclination for problem-solvingAttention to detail and accuracyComputer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPointTroubleshooting skillsAbility to work in groups/teamsAbility to perform complex statistical calculations and ability to automate this via a scriptPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering background - Petroleum engineering with background in data analytics or similar field of engineering.
Ability to generate research ideas.

The primary location for this position is an office environment.
Able to lift to 20 lbs.
Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.20% travel to rig yards and field
