Qualifications (IE SAP Experience, Excel Knowledge, Any Certifications, Years of Experience in Certain Fields):
Highly preferred:
Machine learning modeling in Python, C#, SQL Server, Access, Advanced Macros - VBA
Note:
any of the following automation experiences
Able to generate and organize large datasets of documents
Has ?1 year expertise in Computer Aided Design CAD software: Autodesk AutoCAD.
Preferred:
Having worked with Accruent Meridian EDMS or other electronic document management system
Able to organize the work w/o supervision, and who can depend on oneself to get things done.
Description
Support Document Control department with managing and evolving their Engineering (Electronic) Document Management System called Meridian
Main objectives are:
organizing digital documents, researching and creating large registry list(s) and merging multiple lists to one, gathering source files in the resulting final list and importing files into Air Liquide's EDMS called Meridian.
Additionally you will perform beginner level drafting of CAD drawings.Responsibilities:
Priority 1:
Organize ±20K digital (engineering) CAD documents stored on a network drive with mínimal metadata.
Process (OCR, automation, manual entry) document content/metadata to populate registry and review the attributes of the CAD drawings found and ensure the validity and quality of these documents/drawings.
Prepares documentation import packets for approval into the EDM System.
Assists with importing approved electronic document packages.
Maintains, organizes, and updates documents in electronic drawing management systems.
Assists with immediate requests from Operations to have any specific documents not found in the repository processed and/or imported to ensure quality assurance and quality control of engineering documents
Assist in classifying electronic content in the existing Meridian and perform basic drafting actions as well as simple corrections in the CAD drawings/documents
Priority 2:
Operate data capture technology to digitize and import ±80K non-CAD (IMG, TIF, PDF) documents in Meridian.
Qualifications:
The position requires a hands-on individual contributor who has organized work habits, is capable of working on and tracking a large number of tasks in a fast-paced environment and needs mínimal supervision.

Bachelor's degree or associate degree with 2-5 years of related job experience.
Highly preferred experience in:
Any of the following machine learning modeling / automation experiences: Python, C#, Access, Advanced Macros - VBA, SQL Server to be able to automate, generate and organize large data sets of documents.
Minimum 1 year expertise in Computer Aided Design CAD software: Autodesk AutoCAD.
Preferred experience:
Having worked with Accruent Meridian EDMS or other electronic document management system.
Creating VBA-macros, advanced lookups and/or functions with Google Suites or MS Office; specifically Google Sheets, MS Excel (or Access).
Having worked for 2 years in a previous document control position at an engineering, construction, or technical organization.
Contract details
This position will preferably be full-time (FT), but depending on an initial training period and evaluation, the position can be transferred into a part-time (PT) occupation.
Duration:
This a one-time project period, but could become an indefinite need for a professional with mid level skills.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are mandatory in office. Hours may vary hrs weekly).
