    Description
    Our commercial real estate client is seeking a

    Project Specialist

    to join their Chicago team on an

    ongoing contract

    basis. This person will provide operational and project support the Legal, Finance and Human Resources department. Ideal candidates will be highly analytical, with 4+ years of project management or administrative assistant experience. Additionally, strong Excel skills are required.


    Contract length:
    Ongoing, long term

    Pay:
    $30-38/hr (Based on years of experience)

    Location:
    Downtown Chicago

    Hybrid schedule:

    3 days onsite, 2 days remote

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    Project Management:
    Coordinate and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize project outcomes.

    Finance Literacy:
    Assist in financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance.

    Excel Reports:
    Generate and maintain comprehensive Excel reports to track financial performance, project progress, and other key metrics. Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to analyze data and create visually appealing dashboards.

    Analytical Skills:
    Conduct thorough analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Develop analytical models and tools to support decision-making processes and drive efficiency.

    eBilling:
    Oversee the eBilling process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and client requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve billing discrepancies and optimize invoicing procedures.

    Administrative Duties:
    Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing travel arrangements, and handling correspondence. Maintain efficient filing systems and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
