    Full-Time Opportunity: 5 Day Work Week
    Weekend availability as needed
    Monday – Friday

    We are currently in search of a Service Manager characterized by innovation, hard work, honesty, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should thrive in a high-volume operation, optimizing profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction. Proficiency in managing all aspects of the department, along with adaptability to industry changes, is essential. Successful candidates should display a strong work ethic, team spirit, and the drive to exceed service targets. Collaboration with our management team will enable you to foster your career development. A minimum of 5 years of automobile service management experience is preferred, with a preference for experience in operating a high-volume, fast-paced department.

    Job Description & Duties:
    The Service Manager will play a crucial role in running an efficient and profitable service department by overseeing staffing, customer retention, cost controls, goal achievement, and maintenance of service records. Responsibilities also include ensuring the consistent sale of technicians' time to service customers and directing quality control efforts to guarantee correct and satisfactory completion of repairs on customers' vehicles.

    • Develops forecasts for departmental goals and objectives and works diligently to achieve them.
    • Implements and maintains reporting systems as required by general management and the factory.
    • Monitors and controls department performance through the use of relevant reports, tracking systems, and surveys.
    • Promotes harmony and teamwork within the department and fosters positive collaboration with other departments.
    • Demonstrates understanding of and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations impacting service operations, including hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
    • Ensures understanding and adherence to manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
    • Manages documentation, accounting for accuracy and completeness in all processes.
    • Conducts weekly department meetings for effective communication and coordination.
    • Directs and schedules activities for all department employees.
    • Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and validates corresponding payroll records.
    • Tracks and follows up on parts orders with the parts manager to ensure availability.
    • Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
    • Informs repair technicians of time allowances for each repair order.
    • Ensures high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks; conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
    • Stays informed about new equipment and tools, making recommendations for purchases.
    • Maintains cleanliness in work areas and customer waiting areas.
    • Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with vocational and technical schools to enhance personnel recruitment efforts.
    • Ensures proper care, storage, and inventory of special tools.
    • Keeps customers' service files up-to-date and readily available for reference.
    • Greets customers promptly, providing fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance.
    • Addresses customer complaints promptly and in accordance with dealership guidelines.
    • Establishes and maintains 24-hour follow-up with all customers to confirm satisfaction with the service experience.
    • Maintains a safe work environment.
    • Presents a professional appearance at all times.

    Salary:
    $125, $150,000.00 plus per year inclusive of bonus and commission
