    Overview

    As a Contract Technical Project Manager in our dynamic IT Strategy & Programs team, you'll play a crucial role in steering our most critical projects from conception to completion. You'll be the linchpin ensuring our projects are not only cost-effective and efficiently communicated but also meticulously planned and impeccably executed, with a keen eye on quality assurance, risk mitigation, and overall project viability. This role calls for a blend of strategic vision and practical project management, making it perfect for someone who thrives in managing complex, high-stakes initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Strategic Project Leadership: Take charge of multifaceted initiatives, spanning several business domains, driving them towards success.
    • Team Motivation and Leadership: Provide inspiring on-site leadership, fostering a motivated project team committed to achieving project objectives and milestones.
    • Lifecycle Management: Own the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless progression from initiation through to deployment, encompassing both significant projects and a collection of smaller ones.
    • Executive Communication: Master the art of high-level communication, effectively conveying project statuses to executive teams.
    • Best Practices Development: Play a pivotal role in developing and refining project management methodologies, tools, and practices to elevate our organizational capabilities.
    • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily project operations, aligning resources and efforts with the Strategic Planning team's goals and schedules.
    • Risk and Scope Management: Proactively manage project scopes, identifying potential risks and devising contingency plans to ensure project integrity.
    Ideal Qualifications
    • Education: A Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field is preferred.
    • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Technical Project Management, with a minimum of 3 years involving senior leadership engagement. A background in financial services is a plus.
    • Certifications: PMO, PMP, or Six Sigma certifications are highly regarded, as is experience with Agile methodologies.
    • Technical Proficiency: Adept in Jira & Confluence, with strong skills in MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. PowerBI knowledge is a bonus.

    • Leadership: Capable of working independently with minimal oversight, displaying strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Problem-Solving: Creative and analytical approach to problem-solving, with a knack for fostering teamwork and innovation.

    • Organizational Prowess: Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and execute work and deliverables efficiently and effectively.
    • Agility: Able to navigate ambiguity, work collaboratively across departments, and drive results under tight deadlines.
