    Overview


    AmTrust Cyber Claims AdjusterCome and join the AmTrust Cyber Team We are a growing and flourishing Cyber/Tech Team with offices around the country.

    In this role, you will be the AmTrust Cyber Claims Adjuster responsible for:

    handling first and third-party cyber claims; managing relationships with outside counsel and vendors; and providing timely and meaning claim trend information to underwriters and actuaries.

    Our portfolio of business includes both admitted and surplus accounts and primary and excess accounts across a diverse range of industries and insureds that are SMEs through Fortune 500 companies.

    This position helps maintain profitable growth and account retention along with long-term company and client relationships.

    Responsibilities

    Directly managing claims including the investigation, analysis and evaluation of coverage liability and damages

    Formulating claims and litigation strategiesAssigning, directing, and managing outside counsel and third-party vendors - including the assignment of matters and the management of costsIdentifying liability and coverage trends and issues with both individual and portfolio impact and formulating the processes and strategies for handling such claims as well as ensuring accurate and consistent claims management across impacted underwriting segments and lines of businessFacilitating the collection and analysis of claims-related data for analytic purposesReviewing and updating third party vendor panel on an ongoing basisDisseminating information on claim trends to senior management and underwriting teamsSupporting underwriting inquiries and information requestsSecuring coverage counsel, as needed, and working in collaborationCommunicating with senior executives, brokers, reinsurers, actuaries, insureds, and auditors (both external and internal)

    Qualifications

    5+ years of claims management experience handling primary and excess cyber claims

    and/or


    JD with insurance coverage litigation experience ( experience with cyber claims and/or litigation is required )Bachelor's Degree requiredDemonstrated ability and experience handling both first- and third-party (cyber) claims involving a wide variety of loss scenarios as well as reporting and presenting about same to senior management; with a preference for third party cyber claim experienceIn-depth knowledge of claims, litigation, arbitration, and trial processes as well as excellent analytical, investigative, and negotiating skillsDemonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skillsAnalytical thinker that can drive results using all facets of the legal and claims processesUnderstanding of and ability to balance both the immediate claim issues as well as the broader portfolio impact and customer service impact of coverage disputes and issuesExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with people with conflicting expectations, differing opinions, and multiple viewpointsWork ProfilePreferred location is Chicago, IL or Salt Lake City, UT, working a three day a week in office hybrid schedule.
