    Responsibilities The Assistant Site Manager (ASM) is a permanent, full-time position supporting the overall mission of the U.S
    Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by facilitating the operations of a local USCIS Field Office

    As an ASM, your responsibilities would include:

    • Assisting Site Manager in oversight of office operations and timely completion of all deliverables
    • Monitoring data entry, mail and file operations, and quality control processes to ensure compliance with the USCIS FOSS Contract and reporting progress to Site Manager
    • Planning and coordinating with Site Manager and leadership team to ensure contractual and operational requirements are met
    • Scheduling contractor staff, approving time off, initiating and implementing disciplinary actions, mentoring staff
    • Directing, assisting, and providing guidance to contract staff in various functional areas by establishing priorities and reallocating resources as needed to meet goals established by USCIS
    • Maintaining close coordination with Site Manager on operational issues
    • Collaborating with Site Manager to ensure best practices are in place and evaluate/update as needed
    • Training new employees, creating training plans
    • Creating/updating written standard operating procedures
    • Participating in meetings with government personnel
    • Managing site operations in Site Manager's absence
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications & Physical Requirements


    • Associates Degree or a combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of management experience where you supervised teams of 30+ people
    • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
    • Ability to read and understand proficiently in English
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
    or more in a physical environment
