    Description

    As a Senior Image Quality Engineer, you work with the Product team to define the imaging products roadmap and are responsible to define the test and qualification of Prophesee Imaging Products.

    With your solid experience in mobile image quality, you lead high-level imaging product validation with cross-functional R&D team inputs.

    With the support of the imaging application engineers, you create experience demos showcasing benefits of event-based technology for imaging applications.

    You participate to the pilot programs of PROPHESEE with major Mobile OEM and help break down high level use case into fine grain technology requirements for the entire system.

    Responsibilities
    Lead efforts to test and qualify imaging products with cross-functional team input (Sensor, System, SW)
    Contribute to Imaging product roadmap, in cooperation with technical marketing
    Strong involvement in strategic mobile customer projects facilitating design-in
    Define imaging system performance metrics (IQ scores, Operating range, etc.) including modeling & simulation and real-life measurements.
    Set-up IQ benchmarks, IQ lab, and run characterization of Prophesee Imaging Products.
    Promote key technology benefits driving demos implementation.
    Qualifications
    Advance degree in IC Design, Signal Processing, Optics, Computer vision or related field
    5+ years of experience in imaging quality metrics and evaluation methodology
    Understanding of a full image processing pipeline in consumer products
    Experience in image sensor operation & tuning.
    Familiarity with camera components and functions.
    Familiarity with python and C++ programming
    Knowledge in all the following areas with detailed experience in at least one: Imaging system simulation, Camera module development, Optical lens design & simulation, Computational Imaging, ISP fundamental algorithms development, ISP tuning, Deep learning-based imaging enhancement, HDR video processing, Image stacking
    Experience with latest generation mobile and consumer electronics chipset architectures
    Fluent English verbal and written communication skills required
    Position might require up to 20% of travel.
