- Manage month-end closing activities within set timelines including journal entry review and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports adhering to US GAAP.
- Analyze monthly results against budget, communicate variances, and suggest business enhancements.
- Offer financial support to Business Leaders.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate labor and overhead rates reporting.
- Lead annual physical inventory process.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax preparers for accurate financial representation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Review and correct errors in financial documents and reports.
- Provide recommendations regarding reserves, assets, and expenditures.
- Conduct internal studies to enhance accounting operations.
- Train and develop team members as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

About Us:
RCD Components is a leading manufacturer of resistors and a key supplier of capacitors, coils, and delay lines for various industries such as commercial, medical, military, and aerospace. The company's resistors are crucial in high reliability applications including avionic systems, industrial embedded systems, and medical instrumentation. With over 50 years of experience, RCD excels in flexible manufacturing, resistive technology expertise and producing high-quality precision parts for demanding applications.
About the Position: We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support two Business units. This individual will manage all accounting functions such as month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis & reporting, and business support. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and effective communication with Business Leaders.
Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent. Preferably five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in general ledger and financial reporting.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP software. Sound knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and IFRS. Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, and work in a dynamic environment. High level of accuracy in arithmetic and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
