    The Supply Chain Leader will develop, implement, and monitor business processes to optimize the supply chain and material processes for the Manufacturing Business Unit. This is a leadership role that will manage the strategic relationship with our customers and suppliers, leveraging for continuous improvement of inventory velocity and product costing.

    DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

    • Implement an effective framework of best practices in supply chain and inventory management to improve operational productivity levels
    • Support corporate strategic initiatives for supply chain including material cost reductions, supplier discounts, comprehensive cycle-counting, inventory turns and other specific site objectives
    • Articulate, and refine supply chain business processes that drive maximum efficiencies
    • Enhance and provide site level input to functional supply chain processes or technologies
    • Develop and manage supplier and vendor relationships including negotiations and resolutions
    • Coach and mentor to a team of dedicated Material Specialists, Procurement Specialists, Inventory Controllers, and administrative staff
    • Establish talent development plans and oversee the training program of the supply chain team
    • Will report directly to the General Manager for the Albuquerque business unit with additional reporting requirements to the Regional and/or Corporate Supply Chain Leader
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Practical industry experience in a multi-location environment (preferably in the EMS, complex manufacturing setting)
    • Post-secondary degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management
    • Minimum 10 years Supply Chain / Materials Management experience including at least 5 years supervisory experience.
    • Project management experience preferred with deep understanding of supply chain processes.
    • Demonstrated effective communication and people leadership skills
    • Experience should include the areas of MRP planning, strategic & tactical purchasing, all facets of inventory management, as well as the required P&L financial acumen to manage business objectives.
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems (other software BAAN, JDE, Oracle, SAP, VISUAL Mfg.)
    • Working knowledge of "Lean Manufacturing" and experience with rapid change models such as Kaizen, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

    • Ability to manage high-pressure situations in a professional manner in a fast paced, highly demanding industry
    Working Conditions:
    • The working environment is generally clean; however, the incumbent may be exposed to occasionally dust
    • You will be required to wear safety clothing and gears when working in safety sensitive environments
    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between USD $115-130,000 per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.
