Lief Labs is located in the Santa Clarita Valley (Valencia, CA.) All roles are on-site Monday - Friday.**
Summary

Responsibilities

  • Own the configuration of MRP parameters within SAP.
  • Run periodic analysis to ensure these parameters are accurate and reflective of current state of the business
  • Support the S&OP and Monthly Business Review processes by providing analytical and documentation support required to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain company's inventory classification model, ensuring it's updated frequently and accurately
  • Utilizing sales order and production order data, build monthly production plan based on capacity, material availability and other factors. (current & next month)
  • Develop and own forward looking (3+ months) production plan
  • Perform various planning analysis to identify and resolve material availability issues.
  • Identify all newly generated production proposals with approved sales orders to ensure dosage and quantity accuracy and alignment.
  • Work with other internal crossfunctional key stakeholders (PD, Sales, Finance, Customer Ops, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics) to ensure the timely and accurate processing and execution of customer sales orders with a heavy focus on meeting or exceeding our ontime and infull performance metrics.
  • Run ad hoc data analysis at the request of departmental Director and Vice President
  • Play an integral role in the change management process by placing production orders on hold, releasing them when ready, and collaborating with other departments to capture changes and associated costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of changes and maintain effective communication throughout the production process.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management to support the overall success of the planning functions.

Minimum Qualifications

_Knowledge_

Education:


Bachelor's degree in business, with a concentration in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.

MBA preferred

_Experience_

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain planning or other supply chain related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with above average skills in Excel strongly desired.
  • Proficient in working with ERP systems, preferably experience with SAP by Design.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Manufacturing Methods and Procedures Knowledge of ERP systems

_Work Environment_
The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate. Field conditions vary.

Exposed to various raw materials, including allergens (i.e. milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nut, peanuts, wheat, soy).


_Physical Demands_


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, talk, move about, hear and speak.

May be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions.


The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds and be able to use appropriate support equipment to lift and move greater amounts.

Must be able to stand for approximately 8 hours.

Must be able to work independently, in a team environment, and drive projects to solutions.


Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
