    Position: Drill Press Operator

    Location: Baltimore, MD 21211

    Shift: 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm; Monday - Friday)

    Job Overview for the Drill Press Operator position:

    As a Drill Press Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drill press machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate drill press machines to perform precision machining operations.
    • Tapping.
    • Read and interpret drawings.
    • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
    • Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating.
    • Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
    • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.
    • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Qualifications:
    • Previous experience operating drill presses.
    • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
    • Ability to use/operate CNC machines a plus
    • Must be able to pass a drug test
    • Must be able to pass a background check
