Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for you as a Software Designer (m/f/d) at Ilchester.

Your responsibilities as a Software Designer (m/f/d) include:

  • You are responsible for the execution of software design and commissioning of small to medium automation projects, as well as the creation of PLC programs and user interfaces
  • Programming, parameterization and commissioning of purchased units (screw technology, NC axes, pressing technology, measuring computers, printers, scanners, engravers, etc.) are part of your tasks
  • You carry out commissioning at the company and re-commissioning at customer sites
  • You are responsible for process optimization, concept and change discussions with the customer on site
  • You create user manuals and software documentation
  • You train and instruct customer personnel on operation and maintenance, and conduct corresponding trainings

Your profile as a Software Designer (m/f/d) that will make you stand out with us:

  • Completed vocational training or degree in automation technology, electrical engineering or mechatronics
  • You have several years of professional experience (preferably in plant construction or the automotive industry)
  • You have good English skills in spoken and written form
