- Greet and enthusiastically assist the public promptly and professionally. Receive the public and answer questions in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from employees, students, and others; and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer the central telephone system and direct calls timely and accordingly.
- Operate office machines as required.
- Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material.
- Assist all other departments in student enrollment and graduation processing.
- Track students-pulling students from class to see the campus president or registrars when necessary.
- Run errands-picking up supplies, mail pick-up, and distribution when necessary.
- Assist the campus president in preparing for audits.
- Assist the campus president in organizing graduation ceremonies.
- Scan student advising and documents related to change of status into Campus Nexus, including FERPA, RAVE, and all orientation paperwork.
- Compile the daily reports and ensure they are done timely and complete.
- Administer Wonderlic and typing tests.
- Serve as a backup for the library assistant in proctoring exams during lunch hours and in their absence.
- Attend and assist in orientations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent, associate degree preferred.
- Experience in Customer Service.
- Experience in timely answering, handling and transferring multiple calls.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must have a valid driver's license and legal/current insurance coverage on a personal vehicle.
- Bilingual (English Spanish).
- Must have a personal cell phone to be used with the MFA.
- Ability to read, listen, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties.
- Ability and willingness to comply with school policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.
