- Provide product price andavailability.
- Provide cross reference forcompetitor lines.
- Manage large amounts ofincoming phone calls.
- Identify opportunitiesto up-sell additional products.
- Expedite/backorder reporting.
- Openorder reporting.
- Function as liaison betweenMCR Safety customers and Sales team to exceed customer needs. Thisrequires daily interfaces with all internal team members via emailand phone.
- Build sustainable relationships andtrust with customer accounts through open and interactivecommunication.
- Work directly with customerpersonnel to facilitate shipping schedules, material requirements,order changes, tracking of shipments, and lead times.
- Stay up-to-date of all customer accountprocesses.
- Support all Inside Sales, Sales andCustomer Service activities, including order entry, ordermanagement, order acknowledgement, order status updates tocustomers.
- Stay active with our on-line CHATsystem.
- Provide accurate, valid, and completeinformation by using the right methods/tools.
- High school diploma or equivalentrequired.
- 3-5 years business-to-business,account management or related experience required.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems highlypreferred.
- Experience working with EDI orderentry preferred.
- Data entry proficiencyrequired.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word andOutlook.
