    Audit Senior- Architecture, Engineering & Construction

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate with the audit team and clients to plan and design audit procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
    • Assess and identify areas of financial risk and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate those risks for AEC clients.
    • Lead audit fieldwork, including the testing of financial statements, internal controls, and transactional data.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with AEC clients, communicating audit findings and providing recommendations for improvement.
    • Prepare clear and concise audit reports, highlighting any material weaknesses or deficiencies in financial reporting, and suggest actionable solutions.
    • Ensure that AEC clients comply with industry-specific regulations and standards, such as revenue recognition, percentage of completion accounting, and other construction-related accounting principles

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • A Masters degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
    • 2 + years of audit experience, preferably with exposure to AEC clients.
    • Profound knowledge of tax regulations, financial services, and relevant tax software.
    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
