    Job Responsibilities:

    The Senior Manager, Council on Dental Practice will support dental profession by strengthening the ADA's role in providing guidance and subject matter expertise to ADA policy, and regulatory and compliance issues as it relates to dental practice as well as leading the ADA's Wellness initiatives. Manage the day-to day operations of the ADA's Council on Dental Practice as well as assigned subcommittees. Foster positive relationships with all ADA stakeholders through effective communication and strong collaborative efforts, supporting ADA positions.     Must Have:
    • Dental Degree
    • 8 years experience insome aspect of healthcare, as well as significant strengths in project planning and management, including resource development, report writing, and making recommendations
    • Previous experience in leading groups to achieve consensus
    • Attention to detail and reliable follow through
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Project management
    • Ability to work independently
    • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Some travel and weekend meetings
    Nice to Have:
    • Experience in operations of a dental practice
    • Familiarity with association policy development processes
    • Legislative principle development
