Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages.
Your primary goal will be to ensure the oral health and well-being of our patients while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including comprehensive exams, Xrays, and oral cancer screenings
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (Epic)
- Stay uptodate with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines in the dental office
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience working as a Dentist
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and best practices
- Proficient in using dental software systems (Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients in a clear and understandable manner
- Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
