    PC Technician

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support responsibilities include software installation and configurations.
    • The Helpdesk Specialist provides technical, operational, and training support to personal computer users either via telephone or on-site, handling PC desktop hardware and software packages.
    • Job duties entail installing and testing personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configuring operating systems, loading software programs, and troubleshooting incidents.
    • The candidate will also diagnose hardware and software issues, coordinate repairs, resolve system problems, and participate in system evaluations and software configurations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree.
    • Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I, and the ability to obtain the DoD 8570 IA Computing Environment Certification within 6 months of employment.
    • Must have an Interim Secret Clearance.
    • Experience supporting Windows 7, Windows 10, and MS Office 2013, as well as using a ticketing system like Remedy.
    • Skills required include analytical abilities, strong communication, coordination, independence in task handling, and teamwork.

    Other:

    • Experience with Lexmark, HP, or Ricoh printer devices maintenance.
    • Prior USACE/ACE-IT experience, familiarity with working in a DoD environment, and supporting Office 365.

    Salary:

    • $20-$26 per hour
