    Description

    Need to be flexible with work hours:
    Will alternate between these shifts
    3 months day shift
    3 month second shift
    3 months night shift

    Team culture is very self-directed. Initially there will be some well compensated overtime until they get the team built. With that being stated, they still very much believe in work life balance.


    This role will be working and alternating schedule of 3 days one week and then 4 days the next - Lather, rinse, repeat.

    The schedule can include nights and weekends but as they grow the team, management will start putting together schedules better acclimated to the individual.

    Initially while the team is being built, the pace will be a little faster than normal but this will level out.

    The hiring decision will be heavily weighted on knowledge and culture.

    Critical Facility Technician

    We are currently seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to join our growing team. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role involves hands-on analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our 24x7 facility operations.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):

    • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment
    • Maintain and operate various mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life safety systems, temperature control systems, and building management systems
    • Coordinate and supervise electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs
    • Ensure compliance with all change control processes
    • Schedule and oversee preventive, contracted, and general maintenance activities
    • Follow standard operating procedures and maintenance work instructions
    • Operate and monitor critical system equipment, overseeing work efforts including thirdparty contractors
    • Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer concerns
    • Monitor building operations during scheduled shifts
    • Evaluate and assign safe work responsibilities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma and minimum 35 years of experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years' experience as an HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician
    • Electrical/mechanical certifications preferred
    • Willingness to work overtime and longer shifts, including day/night/weekend/holiday shifts
    • Proficiency in MS Office
