Description

Responsibilities:

Effectively Assist in maintain plant equipment, primarily related to manufacturing kitchen appliances and refrigeration equipment.
Assist in executing the plant preventive maintenance program.
Use of ladders will be required.
Strong working knowledge of all facets of manufacturing equipment and procedures.
Use of power tools and hand tools.
Able to work on painting and spackling projects.
Responsible for completing tickets and partnering with L2 and Supervisor for advanced repairs as needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
13 years of repair and maintenance experience.
Exceptional ability to work on directed tasks, complete on time with good quality.
Basic understanding of electricity and hazards of electricity.
OSHA safety certification is a PLUS.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
In a workday: standing/walking 812 hours.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
Possible work assignments may include building zones below zero temps.
May be required to work up to 10 hours in 3238degree temps.
