    We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Lead to serve as a technical lead within our analytics engineering team.

    This pivotal role is tailored for an individual with a profound technical background in data engineering and analytics, who thrives on leading projects and guiding teams towards achieving technical solutions.

    As a cornerstone of our team, you will play an instrumental role in designing and implementing advanced analytics solutions, driving technical decisions, and shaping the future of our data-driven initiatives.

    Beyond leading technical directions, you will be responsible for the comprehensive optimization, development, and maintenance of our Analytics ecosystem.

    This includes evaluating our current data ecosystem to ensure adherence to industry best practices, making strategic recommendations for enhancements, and implementing necessary configuration changes.

    Moreover, your role involves mentoring team members and sharing your knowledge and expertise to uplift the team's capabilities as part of the build process.

    An ideal candidate for this position will have experience?in?the technologies:

    • Azure Data Lake Gen 2 Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure Data FactoryApache Spark (Databricks is a plus), Delta Lakehouse, Data Lakehouse, MPP Data Warehouses Microsoft Fabric & Power BI (including tenant administration)Analyzes system and integration requirements by understanding business needs, troubleshooting, determining root cause, and lead thedesign, modification and changes to system specifications.Leads the development, testing, and documentation activities according to specifications, standards and system requirements in order to accomplish ideal business results and end to end connectivity of data and systems. Lead in the design ofsoftware system testing and validation procedures including unit testing, scenario testing and end to end testingLead others to implement best practices on integrated solutions for complex problems enabling defined business process Identify appropriate risks associated with system changes andleadinensuring proper scheduling, documentation, andimplementation in accordancewith defined business processes.Manages and monitors systems for the organization and ensures alignment with company guidelines and SOPs. Responds to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems with continuous improvement mindset. Collaborate with others by working across boundaries toensure best practices solutions are developed. Partner with suppliers and technologyproviders on innovative solves for complex business issues. Conductproactive ongoing and periodic scans ofemergingtechnologies.Mentor other team members in professional development. RequirementsMinimum Five plus years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a strong emphasis on leading technical projects. Five plus years of experience working with Power BI or other Data Visualization / Reporting Tools in an administrative capacity.

    Expertise in Apache Spark, Data Warehousing technologies, Delta Lake House, and proficient in Azure data services (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2, Azure Event Grid).

    Advanced software development experience using Agile and CI/CD Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant degree or?ten?plus?years of work experience.?Seven?plus years of progressive?work experience in IT or related field??Must be self-motivated, a fast learner, and a strong problem solver.?Curious and detailed individual that focuses on optimization and continuous improvement.?Ability to identify, diagnosis, and troubleshoot system issues and determine root causes with speed and efficiency.?Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail.?Mentoring and coaching skills?Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.?Ability to work with, communicate effectively with and influence all levels of the organization.?Ability to travel as needed.?Preferred?
