Staff Accountant ( NetSuite ) ( Full-Time ) ( Hybrid in Rutherford, NJ )
Location: Hybrid schedule in Rutherford, New Jersey, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Base Salary

Must Haves:

2-3 years of experience in accounting
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Experience with NetSuite ERP system
Experience with Concur
Excellent Excel knowledge (pivot tables, V Lookups, etc)

My Client is looking for a detail-oriented and organized staff Accountant to join their finance team.
You will be responsible for month-end closing and reconciliation, as well as daily accounting processes.

What You'll Do:

Preparation of daily cash reports
Chargeback management, including research, response, and entry promptly
Liaison between general accounting, Order Management, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Prepare analysis for print production and events expenses to determine proper month-end accruals.
Analyze revenue and expense accounts
Bank reconciliations
Management of complete account analysis files (month-end schedules) for manager review
Assist with the yearly financial statement audit by preparing audit schedules.
Assist accounts payable and receivable
Perform administrative tasks to support the Finance Department

What You Have:

2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or multiple internships
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Experience with NetSuite ERP system
Experience with Concur
Excellent Excel knowledge (pivot tables, V Lookups, etc.)
Ability to work with a team but also independently
Ability to take initiative to resolve problems by researching history to create and propose solutions
Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities for professional growth
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Willingness to perform administrative and support tasks daily
Strong organizational skills with the ability to be proactive, accurate, and melilotus about details
