    Bilingual Case Aide


    Catholic Social Services (CSS) in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has an opening in a program that provides foster care, treatment and educational services to assist unaccompanied children entering the United States. The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours. The agency offers paid vacation, sick time, a generous holiday schedule and medical benefits.

    Essential Functions:

    • Provides support to the case management team.
    • Assists with intake process and with completing initial paperwork.
    • Assists with documentation preparation and filing.
    • Assists with foster parent training including documentation and any necessary follow up.
    • Audits files, reports findings to supervisor and provides follow up with document retrieval for the files.
    • Works with the case manager to help facilitate a safe and timely release for the children.
    • Attends required trainings.

    Essential Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Ability to be flexible, creative and work in a diverse setting.
    • Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
    • Availability for overnight travel to discharge children from care.
    • Demonstrated written and verbal skills.
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed care.
    • Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.
