Since CSIs founding in 1962, it has been a pioneer in the community-based service. We have been delivering supervision, treatment, and comprehensive individualized services to help clients interact more effectively in their communities and become productive citizens. Using this plan we built the first ever halfway house in New England which has now been replicated and grown to almost 50 programs in 9 states. CSI understands clients and staff have been impacted by trauma. CSI is becoming a trauma-informed organization by hiring individuals with existing experience in trauma-informed practices as well as supporting ongoing staff development with trauma-informed practices. This will include learning to recognize symptoms of trauma and how to respond, through training starting at orientation and throughout their career at CSI. Program Overview
Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Case Aide to join our team at our FBOP Facility located in Wilmington, DE. These are programs for state and federal work release clients who live in a congregate setting and are supported as they obtain full-time employment and meet financial and self-sufficiency goals. The programs administer assessments, monitor compliance with treatment plan goals and involve clients in direct treatment services that address their criminogenic tendencies. Random breathalyzer or urinalysis, cognitive behavioral groups, home confinement monitoring, and case management to assist clients in maintaining stability leading to successful discharge.
Position Overview
Maintains accountability for clients' location at all times and has knowledge of and implements all Agency policies and procedures governing facility operations including:
Client Supervision
Key Control
Head Counts
Monitoring of clients location and visitors log
Emergency and other program required procedures.
Collects urine samples and completes related paperwork and breathalyzer testing as required by contract.
Collects intake data, develops and documents program plan goals with clients, monitors in the areas of treatment stipulations, job readiness preparation, and community resource referrals. Assists in client orientation as assigned. Makes recommendations to the supervisor for corrective action as required and monitors on an ongoing basis.
Coordinates discharges with referral agencies.
Supervises client work assignments and checks for satisfactory completion.
Adheres to program procedures and enforces rules, regulation and policies. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Schedule: Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri 9am-5pm & Thurs 12pm-8pm.
Hourly Rate: $18.50
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with three (1) years' experience in social services or similar field. Education may be substituted with experience on a year for year basis.
Good written and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Additional Benefits:
Two (2) weeks' vacation accrued within the first year, bumped to three (3) weeks accrual after 1 year of service.
Sick time (7 days accrual basis), floating holiday time (4 days/year).
