    Assistant PM/ Estimator (Construction)

    Location:

    Requirements:

    • An Undergraduate degree
    • 2-5+ years' experience in high- end residential construction or architecture
    • Estimating experience required
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Highly organized with attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of RFP/bid packages and other project compliance documents
    • Working on 2-3 projects at a given time
    • You will lead the document management of your projects
    • Manage and track all architectural drawings, project documents, and samples for various trades, issue submittals and transmittals as required
    • Actively participate in and write reports for weekly meetings with designers, architects, and clients.
    • Perform any administrative tasks for PM as required
    • Communicate with all parties involved in projects including in-house team, subcontractors, clients, architects, and designers
    • Prepare, monitor, and update master schedules.
    • Review potential change orders and report to the Project Manager.
    • Facilitate timely preparation and delivery of all required submittal documentation.
    • Maintain accurate records for all phases of contract administration including schedules,
    • RFI's, change orders, transmittals, submittals, schedules, etc.
    • Help identify potential coordination problems or missing information.
    • Reads and thoroughly understands contracts, construction drawings and specifications.
    • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
    • Accurately receives, saves and reviews drawing and revisions for scope
    • Preparation and distribution of RFI's
    • Prepares and delivers clear, concise, and organized estimates
    • Express complex ideas simply and clearly
    • Accurately represent estimating schedule and communicate the schedule effectively.
    • Effectively maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
