    Description

    Company Background/Culture:

    Integrare Group LLC, is a high-growth, vertically integrated construction company, focused on representing commercial and mixed-use residential developments primarily in, but not limited to, Los Angeles (SoCal region). The company's services include general contracting, design-build/design-assist project delivery, construction management, and self-performed work.

    Key Responsibilities:

    This is an office position to lead with Estimating efforts working closely with the SVP of Design & Development. The type of projects will vary from residential multifamily and commercial projects built using conventional concrete + wood construction and/or modular construction. This position has the potential to grow into a Senior Estimator and others. Some of the key responsibilities are as follows:


    • Lead bidding and estimating for future projects.


    • Review and interpret project documents for intent, coordination, constructability, and pricing.


    • Collaborate with Subcontractors on major trades for preliminary project pricing discussions.


    • Solicit competitive bids for each trade, based on the needs of the project.


    • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs.


    • Prepare detailed bid tabs to compare trade proposals.


    • Prepare estimating worksheets for in-house and Owner review.


    • Collaborate with pre-construction team to prepare value engineering and risk analysis.


    • Prepare qualifications and exclusions for the estimate.


    • Assist jobsite staff with estimates, buy-outs and change orders after bid award.


    • Assist project teams during buyout after project award and throughout the duration of the project.


    • Collect and organize all bid information for cost comparisons with previous estimates, for future reference.


    • Demonstrate basic conceptual estimating skills by interpolating data.


    • Develop and document logical assumptions during conceptual estimating for pricing and takeoffs.


    • Keep current with latest estimating technology and techniques.

    Professional Experience/Qualifications:


    • 5+ years of general construction experience, 2+ years as an Estimator.


    • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.


    • Exposure to a variety of trades and base knowledge of structural and MEP systems.


    • Multi Family, Commercial project experiences with wood frame, structural steel, and concrete.


    • Experience in project estimating and highly customized worksheets in Excel.


    • Ability to read schematics and blueprints and technical manuals.


    • Strong communication skills (written and oral).


    • Self-directed and results-oriented; able to handle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


    • Candidates should be extra-skilled with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word & Outlook, and recognize that detail-oriented tasks are critical. ​


    • Additional experience with Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Building Connected is preferred.
