    Job Description

    Civil Engineering & Construction Management Firm has opportunity for a Senior Estimator. This is a permanent direct hire position.
    (Hybrid Remote Schedule also available.)

    Duties include:

    providing detailed construction cost estimates, analysis and review of Project Cost & Budget Expenditures; Cost Control; Estimate Reconciliations; Forecasting, and Bench-marking.


    Qualifications:
    Requires 10 years experience on Public Works Construction or Engineering Projects
    Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
    Demonstrated Cost Estimating Experience
    Experience on Fast-Track Projects, at a Large Scope
    Transportation, Facilities and Airport related Projects preferred
    MEP Estimating also a Plus
    Seismic Retrofit or Wastewater Treatment Facility Experience is a plus
    Microsoft Office required, e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    MC2 Estimating Software (Highly Desirable)
    On-Screen Take-Off (Highly Desirable)

    Responsibilities:
    Prepare detailed engineering and construction project cost reports, charts, and diagrams.
    Promptly report anticipated cost overages or other unsatisfactory cost elements.
    Monitor, evaluate, and report project cost data, including budgeted and forecasted amounts.
    Maintain engineering and construction cost/budget expenditures

    Additional Requirements:
    Ability to assume additional responsibilities.
    Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in performance of duties.
