    Description

    CV Resources has partnered with a financial services client based in Los Angeles in search for a Senior Accountant. The individual will be responsible for daily general ledger reconciliation, cash reconciliation, month-end closing procedures, and daily operational tasks.

    • Responsibilities
    • Daily general ledger and cash reconciliations using Excel.
    • Assist with month-end/year-end closing procedures.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial comparatives for corporate reporting.
    • Preparation of amortization/depreciation schedules.
    • Weekly bank reconciliations of all operating bank accounts.
    • Daily cash requirement calculation.
    • Initiate daily ach and wire transfers.
    • Send, receive, and post funds through intercompany transactions.
    • Reconciling intercompany transactions.
    • Accounts payable involving reviewing and processing invoices and issuing payments via check, ach, and wire.
    • Accounts receivable involving applying check, ach, wire, and intercompany payments within the servicing system.
    • Process NSF payments daily.
    • Other duties as assigned.
