    D3 Search is actively recruiting the following Family Law Paralegal candidate on behalf of a prominent and well-established family law practice located in Los Angeles, CA

    Position Title:

    Family Law Paralegal

  • Note: 5+ years of relevant family law paralegal experience is required.

    • Location/Map:

    Los Angeles, CA

    Employment Status:

    Full-time/direct-hire employment. Non-exempt role (OT in accordance w/ CA laws).

    Employer Work Model:

    Hybrid work model.

    Position Summary:

    A leading family law practice situated in West LA is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Family Law Paralegal to join their team. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting the attorneys and assisting clients in navigating the complexities of family law matters.

    In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research, preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information are crucial for success in this position.

    Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from various sources
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and contracts
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up to date and easily accessible
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting witness lists, gathering evidence, and preparing exhibits
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress
  • Coordinate with court personnel, other attorneys, and outside organizations to schedule hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Assist in the drafting and filing of legal documents with the appropriate courts

    • Requirements:

  • Experienced Paralegal with a specialization or demonstrated experience in family law
  • Excellent knowledge of family law practices, procedures, and legal terminology
  • Proficient in conducting legal research using various resources
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing legal documents
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Proficient in using legal software, such as case management systems and electronic filing systems

    • Compensation/Salary/Benefits:

    Starting salary is 110K+ (DOE/DOQ), plus a robust & comprehensive benefits package, generous PTO, 401K, paid parking (onsite), annual review/raise, annual bonus (based on performance/merit), and many other notable employee-centered perks, etc.
