    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in handling family law cases. This is a full-time position based in our office.


    Responsibilities:

    • Assist attorneys in all stages of family law cases, including divorce and child custody.
    • Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other resources.
    • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and declarations.
    • Prepare and organize case files for court hearings and trials.
    • Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
    • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
    • Conduct case management for multiple cases/tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
    • Perform clerical duties, such as filing documents and answering phone calls.
    • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
    • Strong knowledge of legal drafting and administrative procedures in family law cases.
    • Proficient in proofreading legal documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
    • Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Detailoriented with strong attention to accuracy and completeness.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
