    Title: General Manager

    Reports to: Holding Company CEO

    Location: Boise, Idaho, and Seattle, Washington

    About Our Client

    Our client is a new platform in the Restoration Services market, with a focus on residential restoration. Restoration Services refers to disaster mitigation in homes, primarily around non-storm related damage (burst pipes, floods from water heaters, fires, etc.), though our businesses will also mitigate losses suffered in storms.

    This new platform is backed by Alpine Investors, a top-decile private equity fund with a long history of successful investments in similar industries. Our client is backed by Alpine's 9th fund, which has over $4.5 billion of committed capital. This is an opportunity to be a General Manager at our client's newly acquired business.

    Job Description

    The General Manager will oversee all aspects of a location's day-to-day operations; the person is the 'sunrise and sunset' for the entire business.

    The General Manager will -

    • Drive organic revenue growth
    • Create and monitor performance metrics
    • Create an amazing workplace culture
    • Hire, train, and develop an all-star team
    • Improve margins and EBITDA at the business
    • Work with the M&A team to integrate new businesses and lines of business into your company

    We are looking for someone who will strive to be a world-class operator and help others to do the same. (In addition to full P&L ownership, the General Manager is responsible for capturing a major MSA through organic growth, adding trade lines, and possibly doing tuck in M&A.)

    Requirements

    Ideal candidates will have the following experience -

    • A track record of exceptional performance in past roles
    • Robust leadership experience from serving in the military and from business roles after service
    • 3-5 years of civilian business experience
    • Past P&L ownership and a track record of growing revenue, cutting costs, and managing effectively
    • Experience hiring and retaining A players in leadership roles
    • Experience in a sales role is preferred, but not required
    • MBA from a top school is preferred, but not required
