    **Job Title:** Fire Protection National Sales Assistant

    **Job Summary:** Shambaugh & Son L.P. is looking for a National Service Sales Assistant to join the Fire Protection Group in Fort Wayne. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and sales tasks.

    **Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Understand construction fundamentals while being able to read and comprehend construction documents

    Track upcoming bid opportunities

    Develop proposals for end users under the guidance and supervision of a National Account Service Rep.

    Go through potential sub-vendors for upcoming bids/projects, addressing issues that current customers bring up from services rendered

    File and execute agreements

    Perform tasks that may be repetitive such as downloading documents, setting up folders, completing excel and word documents, etc.

    Work closely with Sales staff to complete tasks efficiently and on time

    Attend sales meetings as mandated by manager

    **Qualifications:**

    Must be currently enrolled in a Business or Engineering degree program

    Must be able to coordinate well with others and be able to make phone calls to vendors, project managers, engineers, etc. regularly

    Proven ability of performing work and meeting deadlines with minimum supervision

    Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
