Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the state of Indiana.

Staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's vision and values.

Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in our trading area that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

Provide input into the operational objectives and execution at the local branch.


Requirements:


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Territory Account Managers, ParkerStore Personnel and Inside Sales/Customer Service Personnel along with local operational teams.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to gain new business or penetrate new markets.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses with DFP sales personnel as needed.
  • Maintain contact with customers in our trading areas to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Present and contribute to the development of training programs for employees and current/potential customers.
  • Conduct regular oneonone review with all sales personnel to build more effective sales and activity performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans for product lines or markets we service.
  • Control expenses to meet monthly/yearly budget guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all price increases, sales and activity reports submitted by DFP Product Managers and Account Managers.
  • Ensure that all sales personnel meet or exceed all activity standards for calls, proposals, presentations, and orders.
  • Demonstrate ability to motivate, interact, manage, and cooperate with all company employees and suppliers' representatives.
  • Responsible for the structure, performance, and expectations of the branch operations team.
  • Quality Representative for all local quality requirements.
  • Coordinate Focus Accounts between the Sales and Operations teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 or More Years Technical Knowledge/Experience preferably with Hydraulics/Pneumatics.
  • Technical Certification or College Degree in Related Field
  • Proficiency with Computer Based Business Systems
