- Work closely with a cross-functional team, including marketers, creative, UX, and product, to support marketing campaigns and client requests.
- Write and update marketing materials across multiple formats (emails, print, web, social and presentations).
- Maintain and shape a consistent, consumer-friendly brand voice, manage multiple workflows autonomously and maintain scalable content creation and review processes.
- Customize and edit existing marketing content templates for Verily's consumer facing products and brands (Verily Me, Onduo, Research and Recruitment); ensure that language, legal disclaimers and brand voice is consistent across all collateral.
- Proofread copy and check for consistency of layout elements during the QA process.
- 4+ years of professional experience in content strategy, copywriting, and editing.
- Excellent English language skills, including knowledge of grammar and style.
- Ability to turn health content into simple and engaging customer language.
- Ability to explain edits and creative concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
- A team player driven to bring fresh ideas & act as a source of inspiration to the team.
- Professional experience in healthcare/biopharma/clinical fields.
- The ability to ideate at the concept level and bring these concepts to life through sound execution.
- Experience formatting content in Google Docs, Slides, and Figma.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.

Description
At Verily, we believe that content is a direct extension of the service we provide to our customers, meaning it must be accessible, informative & engaging. As a Content Strategist/Writer, you are a creative leader with the ability to make complex medical & scientific stories and information relevant & meaningful to our patients/consumers who will be using our products or participating in research studies.
We're looking for a detail-oriented writer/strategist who can work across multiple mediums (emails, print, web, social, and presentations), use industry-standard tools, and self-manage disparate work streams, all while consistently representing our consumer-facing brand voice.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $155,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
