    Job Duties and Responsibilities This is an exciting opportunity to independently manage a complex logistics business while building a career path to senior-level leadership opportunities.

    As a leader, the Distribution Manager is responsible for the overall success of the shipping center by directing employee activity to achieve performance goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Directing employee activity to achieve performance goals for the locationBuilding a high-performance work team to deliver an advanced level of quality and service in all daily activitiesWorking in conjunction with senior leadership and utilizing financial data to drive performance improvementsCreating excitement and engaging all employees in new business opportunities and strategiesGenerating programs and practices that deliver a high level of customer satisfactionCreating, fostering, and maintaining strategic business relationships within the market, region, and companyStores and distributes supplies and equipment and maintains inventory and stock recordsAbility to use multiple applications such as Order Management, Argo, and UPS Worldship to research and complete tasksComplete and distribute Backorder reportUpgrade/Transfer ordersProcess Inventory Ordering Tool request as neededTalking with Freight Carriers and BrokersWorking with Scrap Vendors (Processing all Scrap Paperwork, talking with Scrap vendors)Creating Load sheets, Commercial Invoices, Inter-org Transfer FormsPallet Reconciliation and other duties within MNETWorking with Planners and Buyers to get product received in a timely mannerUnloading and Fulfillment of Returns Complete Oracle transactions to include AAR, AAI, Subinventory transfers, In transit Shipments and IRISO orders and PO ReceiptReceive returned equipment, new inventory and vendor shipments, stocks the inventory in the warehouse, and prepares shipments for return to the remanufacturing department and records distributed hardware information in the computer tracking systemAssist with all inventory replenishment reports and inventory related communications with other departments.

    Safely operate a forklift and pallet jacks as neededAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesSkills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience:

    A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is strongly preferred and 2 years of management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;Skills and Qualifications:Flexibility, innovation, and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environmentAbility to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organizationExcellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skillsWillingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and eveningsThe employee's work may require prolonged standing, walking, and performing tasks that require manual dexterity and repetitive motionPhysical ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy objects up to 50 lbsSafely transport materials, finished products, or equipment using proper lifting techniquesPerform tasks that require bending, stooping, or reaching to access materials, equipment, or workstationsAssemble and disassemble components using hand tools and equipmentThe employee must have the ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, telephone, and other equipmentThis Distribution Management role is a very hands-on working role.

    Salary RangesCompensation:
    $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
