- Develop and implement customer sales strategies
- Exceed sales targets through networking with customers, identify new opportunities, and execute product line reviews
- Coordinate and orchestrate the submission of an annual business plan for internal review and approval, including semi-annual business reviews with both Blomberg and trade partner leadership teams
- Plan and execute product promotion and marketing campaigns that gain new product listings and achieve all sales targets
- Monitor all outlets to ensure distributor does not sell nor distribute the Products or Spare Parts to end-users located outside of the assigned marketing area
- Foster a business relationship that both supports and ensures the distributor trade partners use their best efforts to sell and distribute the products within the assigned marketing area
- Monitor and oversee all touch points to ensure that all activities relating to the sale and distribution of the Products are executed in a professional manner and in accordance with the terms of our Distributor Agreement
- Spearhead, formalize and manage a formalized forecasting process with all trade partners the submission of a detailed forecast on the 15th calendar day after the end of each month, a written report in the form requested by Blomberg detailing distributor's sales of the products during the previous month (as well as calendar year to date) and its inventory of products
- Standardize an inventory control dashboard to ensure that all channel partners always maintain at least a 60-day inventory of each product. This inventory requirement shall be based on one sixth of the applicable annual Sales Volume Requirement detailed in our annual schedules
- Analyze customer-specific metrics and market trends to accurately forecast monthly product demand and financial revenue
- Inform internal key stakeholders on customer initiatives
- Propose future year robust business plans at customer
- Oversee and support trade partners to conduct sales, service, and installation training for each of the resellers / dealers to which it sells the Products. Such training shall include a physical demonstration of the features of at least one model of each Product category annually.
- Ensure trade partners have a formalized sales presence with dealers, with contact at least once every sixty days, with regular sales visit to each Reseller / trade partner to which it sells the Products.
- Lead the collaboration to design, develop and execute an annual calendar to support open-house seminars which are sufficient to demonstrate the operational features of at least one model of each Product to the sales staff of each reseller/dealer to which it sells the Products.
- Spearhead and conduct reasonable audits of trade partner / distributor's business records and facilities relating to the Products during regular business hours to confirm compliance to the terms and conditions
- Minimum of 10 years of Home Appliance industry experience within distribution, or experience working with these distributors (Climatic, Almo, R&B, Tri State).
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales revenue resulting in profitable growth; as KAM, you will partner closely with the customer as well as cross-functional business unit partners.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications required.
- Ability to travel to all distributor locations in North America, and other locations, approximately 60% of the time (current, valid Passport required).
- Strong technical skills, specifically using Excel, to run and analyze reports and data.
