    Description

    Job Summary

    Working alongside an Account Executive (AE) or Producer, responsible for managing an assigned book of business, increasing account retention and supporting new business. Ensuring all performance requirements are met regarding production, quality, and avoiding any liability related to errors and omissions. Tasks involve strategic coordination, executing day-to-day administrative and customer service activities for assigned accounts, and adeptly resolving complex customer service issues with critical thinking skills.

    What You'll Do:

    • Maintain a high level of technical expertise and industry knowledge
    • Use independent judgment to achieve positive outcomes for clients and IOA
    • Direct and prioritize daily activities for administrative, customer service, and account management teams; monitor performance
    • Manage various customer service requests and inquiries, ensuring quality and timely responses
    • Oversee policy expirations, facilitate renewals, and ensure accurate issuance and delivery of insurance policies
    • Monitor Accounts Receivables, handle delinquent accounts, and collect outstanding balances
    • Maintain agency and carrier/vendor systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry
    • Communicate effectively within the account team, keeping all parties informed of status and necessary actions
    • Provide excellent service, anticipate needs, and respond promptly to requests
    • Stay current on company policies and procedures; aim for continuous improvement
    • Uphold IOA core values and demonstrate strong personal character and integrity
    • Ensure regular and punctual attendance
    • Perform assigned duties and responsibilities

    What We're Looking For:

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of account management experience; or 5+ years in the insurance industry
    • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage business and client needs
    • Active licensing and a professional designation preferred
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Exceptional customer service, multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
    • Ability to handle high work volumes with accuracy and attention to detail
    • PC proficiency, including MS Office products
    • Exceptional personal character with a High School Diploma or equivalent
