    Position Overview :


    As the Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in our client's finance department, overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards, timely reporting, and effective financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional leadership skills, and a drive for process improvement.


    Responsibilities :
    Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    Lead month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
    Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
    Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews.
    Implement and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
    Analyze financial data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to support strategic decision-making.
    Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
    Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards, and ensure adherence to new guidelines.


    Qualifications :
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is strongly preferred.
    3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
    Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
    Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating staff.
    Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
    Experience with process improvement initiatives and the ability to streamline accounting processes.
    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
