    Description

    Position Overview:
    Join Smosh in Los Angeles, CA, as a Financial Operations Specialist. This pivotal role supports the financial integrity and operational efficiency of both our production and corporate budgets.

    As the primary liaison with our business management/finance partner, you will facilitate crucial financial planning and strategic execution, supporting day-to-day operations while preparing for future growth.

    Responsibilities:
    Budget Management: Masterfully manage and consolidate information for production and corporate budgets, aiding in strategic reporting and effective forecasting

    Financial Liaison:
    Serve as the key point of contact for our business management/finance partner, ensuring seamless communication and precise financial representation

    Payroll and Expense Oversight:
    Oversee payroll processes for freelancers and maintain an understanding of the expense coding process to ensure compliance and accuracy

    Financial Reporting:
    Skillfully develop and adjust budgets, and provide comprehensive financial reports to senior management.

    Qualifications:

    Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required, complemented by at least two years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.

    In lieu of a degree, four years of relevant experience is acceptable.


    Skill Set:
    Strong proficiency in managing financial processes and budgets, with a keen ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings effectively

    Professional Attributes:
    Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

    Adaptability:
    Ability to adapt to changing business needs and contribute effectively to a team-oriented environment.

    Location: Los Angeles, CAType: Full-TimeSalary: $65,000 to $70,000, based on experience and qualifications
