    Description

    Position: Collections Specialist

    Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite the first 30-45 days, then convert to 4 days remote)

    Pay: $65,000 to $70,000/yr (Depending on experience)

    Experience: 2+ years of experience (law firm highly preferred)

    Education: BA or BS degree is desired.

    Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm

    Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our dynamic law firm client

    Job Description:
    • Assist the firm in meeting targeted cash revenue goals by resolving client or attorney/internal staff issues regarding unpaid accounts receivable monitoring A/R reports.
    • Update payment status information related to past due accounts.
    • Follow up with attorneys on an ongoing basis to track collection efforts.
    • Respond to individual requests regarding account information or analysis.
    • Maintain client contact to resolve disallowances and ensure prompt resolution and payment.
    • Closely support the Revenue Director on firm reporting.
    Position Requirements:
    • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required, familiarity with 3E Collection Software or similar professional collection software is preferred.
    • Must be highly detailed and customer service and results driven.
    • Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task work activities while meeting required deadlines.
    • Effectively work with all levels of Firm personnel.
