Job SummaryThe School of Economics ) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time lecturer position, effective August 1, 2024.This is a one-year position, which may be renewed based upon instructional needs and/or funding availability.We seek individuals who are committed to, and show evidence of, excellence in economic education and instructional pedagogy. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in large classroom settings. Courses taught will be introductory economics courses.
ResponsibilitiesTeach large-section undergraduate introductory economics courses, including principles of microeconomics and principles of macroeconomics.Service to the School, as assigned by the Chair, is also expected.
Required Qualifications Graduate degree in economics prior to August 1, 2024.Preferred QualificationsPreferred candidates will hold a PhD in economics.
