    Job Summary

    The School of Economics ) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time lecturer position, effective August 1, 2024.This is a one-year position, which may be renewed based upon instructional needs and/or funding availability.We seek individuals who are committed to, and show evidence of, excellence in economic education and instructional pedagogy. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in large classroom settings. Courses taught will be introductory economics courses.

    Responsibilities

    Teach large-section undergraduate introductory economics courses, including principles of microeconomics and principles of macroeconomics.Service to the School, as assigned by the Chair, is also expected.

    Required Qualifications Graduate degree in economics prior to August 1, 2024.Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred candidates will hold a PhD in economics.

    Required application materials include a cover letter, CV, a list of three professional references, and teaching evaluations that demonstrate effective teaching in large classroom settings and in introductory economics courses.
