    Description

    Eagle Tech Consultants is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions for commercial buildings. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BAS Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and play a key role in implementing and maintaining building automation systems that improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and overall building performance.

    Key Responsibilities: Tech III & Tech IV

    Perform installation, programming, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS), including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.

    -Must have experience with Tridium Niagara, Alerton, Siemens or Distech Controls experience.

    Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues related to BAS controls, using advanced knowledge of control systems, protocols, and networks.

    Develop and implement control strategies to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.

    Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.

    Conduct on-site training for end-users and facility staff on BAS controls operation and maintenance.

    Maintain accurate records of all system configurations, changes, and upgrades.

    Perform regular preventive maintenance on BAS systems, identifying and addressing potential system failures before they occur.

    Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve our services and solutions.

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with commercial BAS systems.

    Experience with BAS programming languages such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, and Niagara is required.

    Proven experience with various BAS products, including Tridium, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Siemens.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

    Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans and schematics.

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

    Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to customer sites as needed.
