- Collaborate with customers to understand and define complex electronic and electrical system requirements for flight deck avionics.
- Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop interface specifications for seamless integration of flight deck avionics systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure that system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with specified requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for fielded hardware and software throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in flight deck avionics technology and research potential applications to address company business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in flight deck avionics, preferably with 737 or related variants of airplanes.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic and electrical systems, hardware, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in analyzing and translating complex requirements into practical system designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical support for fielded hardware and software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in flight deck avionics technology.
- Knowledge of hardware qualification and aircraft certification
